Southwest Airlines announced they won't resume selling alcohol on board until at least January 2022. The company initially planed on bringing back alcoholic beverages in June, but due to so many reports of unruly passengers, they decided to hold off. The timing also aligns with the federal transportation mask mandate, which has been extended until at least January 18, 2022. Even though you won't be able to have alcohol on your flight anytime soon, the airline will bring back its seat-back pocket menus next month and add several soft drinks to the onboard menu. Some of the new drink offerings include: orange juice, cranberry cocktail juice, ginger ale, seltzer water, and tonic water.
