Michelle Love has been an on-air radio personality for nearly twenty years. She grew up in Chicagoland and studied broadcasting at Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism. While still in college, Michelle got her first on-air job in Chicago as “Showbiz Shelly.” Her time there led her to meet every major star, ranging from Angelina Jolie to Justin Bieber to Jennifer Lopez to Michael Jordan.

Michelle got married to her Naval Officer husband Mike Love in 2021, so she has him to thank for that last name! It’s also his career that brought Michelle to Hampton Roads. Most of Michelle’s free time now is dedicated to her beautiful one-year-old daughter, but when she actually gets some time to spare, she enjoys baking healthy treats, as wellness is one of her passions. She also enjoys playing volleyball and tennis. Her guilty pleasure is watching reality tv dating shows and The Kardashians.
