Finally realizing that the competition is hurting them, McD's makes a move they should have done a long time ago. Beginning this spring all McDonald's restaurants will make Quarter Pounders with fresh beef. They were always reluctant to make the move because it will slow down productivity(longer waits) and with fresh beef, there are health risks. (Hello, E-coli)
The price for QP's will jump, too. But if you like the frozen hockey pucks, no worries. Big Macs, McDoubles and the basic burgers will not change.
