This makes the third time rapper Mystikal has found himself facing charges of sexual assault. This time the rap sheet is quite a bit longer. He's currently facing charges of
- First-degree rape
- Simple robbery
- Domestic abuse battery – strangulation
- False imprisonment
- Simple criminal damage to property
The unidentified victim sustained minor injuries in the attack. "He was arrested and booked into the Ascension Parish Jail," Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office spokesperson Donovan Jackson said. "This is an ongoing investigation. Further details may be limited at this time."
If you recall, Mystikal plead guilty to sexual battery and extortion in 2003 after being charged with aggravated rape. Then he was indicted in 2017 on separate rape and kidnapping charges where he spent 1.5. years in jail before being released on $3 million bond. Those charges were dropped.
Although his attorneys expected him to be released on bail this go round, looks like a judge had other plans.
