Make sure you have everything you need for Thanksgiving Day because Target is the first major retailer to announce it will never open its doors on Thanksgiving again. "What started as a temporary measure driven by the pandemic is now our new standard," Target CEO Brian Cornell said in a note to employees.

Employees expressed their appreciation that they get to spend this holiday with their loved ones instead of working.

If you're wondering what's going to happen to their Black Friday sales, the good news is they've already started! Holiday shopping trends are constantly changing so make sure you go take advantage of all the good deals!

Just in case you do forget something on Thanksgiving Day, Whole Foods, Kroger, Dollar General and other major retailers have vowed to keep their doors open.
