Remembering Nene Leakes' husband, Gregg Leakes

Family friend and publicist to the Leakes' put out a statement today that stated "Today the Leakes family is in deep pain with a broken heart. After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones, and wife Nene Leakes." The rep added, "We ask that you pray for peace and strength over their family and allow them to mourn in private during this very very difficult time."

After being called out for not publicly wishing clubgoers a happy birthday, Nene got on the mic and announced her husband was "transitioning to the other side" and specifically mentioned her husband would not be here in a couple of days.

This is never something you can prepare for so we are keeping Nene and family in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in Power Gregg Leakes.
