This is a story that most people have been following since it went viral.
Tessica Brown, better known as 'Gorilla Glue Girl', is finally making progress with removing the Gorilla Glue Spray from her hair...sort of. She was able to successfully cut off her ponytail. After about four hours of hard work and 'Goof Off', a superglue remover, she was able to loosen the ponytail just enough to cut it off. The top of her hair and sideburns still remain rock-solid, but hopefully, she'll get some relief soon as she plans to fly out to Beverly Hills to visit a doctor who claims he can help her remove the remaining Gorilla Glue with a $12.5k procedure, but FREE OF CHARGE!
This doctor isn't the only one offering up assistance, though. Arrogant Tae has offered his magic hands and even Beyonce's personal hairstylist, Neal Farinah. “When she leaves the hospital if she needs a wig or taking of her scalp I’m here for her,” says Farinah. So, glad she's got options because this will, no doubt, be an uphill battle.
In a recent interview with TMZ, Tessica claims all she wants is her hair fixed, but social media thinks she's searching for a bit more as she's created a GoFundMe that's raised over $16k, Hired a manager, and even gotten verified on Instagram (@im_d_ollady). She says the funds raised will go towards wig purchases while she works to restore her hair.
As far as the pending lawsuit, a lawyer has picked up the case and plans to begin filing asap.
