It's one of those stories that you just can't believe you're reading.
It was confirmed by TMZ Kobe Bryant and his 13 yr old daughter, Gianna, passed away in a helicopter crash this morning in Calabasas. They were on their way to the Mamba Academy for basketball practice when a fire broke out on the helicopter. People nearby say they heard the helicopter's engine sputtering before it went down. There was a total of five people on this flight and all are confirmed dead. The names of the other victims have not yet been released, but we will keep this post updated as more info comes in.
Our hearts go out to Vanessa Bryant and Kobe's three children who survive him. To have to deal with the loss of not only your husband/father but your daughter/sister is unimaginable.
Kobe will truly be missed.
