Survivor Contestant Removed after "Off-Camera Incident"

For the first time in Survivor history, a player was removed from competition for inappropriate behavior.

Host Jeff Probst approached the tribes to tell them in Wednesday’s episode, “Dan Spilo will not be returning to the game. He won’t be coming back to camp. He won’t be on the jury. He’s gone.”

Last month, Dan Spilo was accused of unwanted touching.Kellee Kim asked that he respect her personal space. The situation escalated when two more women falsely claimed Spilo touched them, too. They hoped the allegations would motivate the tribe to eliminate Spilo. That scheme failed but producers gave Spilo a warning.

Probst told Entertainment Weekly he could not provide details about this new incident “out of respect for privacy and confidentiality.” Sources revealed it involved “physical contact” with a member of the show’s production team.(Entertainment Weekly)
