Leonardo DiCaprio's 22-year-old actress girlfriend Camila Morrone has spoken out against criticism of their relationship.
“There’s so many relationships in Hollywood — and in the history of the world — where people have large age gaps,” she told the Los Angeles Times.
“I just think anyone should be able to date who they want to date.”
The two have 23 years between them, which isn't exactly unusual for DiCaprio. He's previously dated many women who were much younger than him.
“I probably would be curious about it too,” Camila said about people's sudden interest in their relationship.
She's currently promoting a movie she stars in, called Mickey and the Bear - and she hopes she'll start to be recognized more for her talent.
"I feel like there should always be an identity besides who you’re dating… I understand the association, but I’m confident that will continue to slip away and be less of a conversation.”
