Sunday night in Los Angeles, Drake faced a harsh crowd that booed him off the stage.
Drake was the surprise guest at the 8th annual Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival hosted by Tyler, The Creator. He promised an unannounced act would close out the festival. The crowd hoped the mystery guest would be Frank Ocean.
Instead, they got Drake. After rapping a few hits, Drake asked “Do you want me to keep going?” The audience responded with a big “Noooooo!” So Drake asked a second time and the jeers grew louder.
Drake pleaded (quote) “I’m here for you tonight. If you want me to keep going, I will keep going.” The crowd became even more restless so Drake walked off the stage in disgust. And the Camp Flog Gnaw crowd that wanted Frank Ocean chanted “We want Frank! We want Frank!” (Live Music Blog)
