John Legend and Kelly Clarkson have recorded a new version of the holiday classic “Baby, It’s Cold Outside" - and original singer Dean Martin's daughter Deana is NOT happy about it.
The lyrics have been altered in the new version to eliminate the lines that many people in recent years have deemed outdated and creepy, in light of the #MeToo movement.
"You do not change the lyrics to the song," Deana Martin told Good Morning Britain. "He's (Legend) made it more sexual with those words he's said. It's absolutely absurd. I think that John should have just left it alone."
The song will be featured on the new deluxe edition of John's holiday album A Legendary Christmas, coming on November 8th.
