The Bee Gees Biopic In The Works From 'Bohemian Rhapsody' Producer

A musical biopic is being developed about The Bee Gees - brothers Maurice, Robin, and Barry Gibb.

Paramount Pictures purchased the life rights to the family estate on behalf of Bohemian Rhapsody producer Graham King and his GK Films company.

A script hasn't been written yet, but the film will most likely follow the group's rise to fame in the 70's, including their global success after the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack in 1977.

The Bee Gees sold 220 million records worldwide and are one of the highest-selling groups of all time.

They broke up in 2003 after Maurice Gibb's death. Robin and Barry Gibb briefly reunited in 2009 before Robin’s death in 2012.
