Viewers would be able to watch at normal speed. Or if time is short the latest feature would allow you to click to speeds of 1.25-times and 1.5-times normal.
The streaming service confirmed on Monday that they are testing speed controls “We’re always experimenting. It’s possible for people to vary the speed on their mobiles. As with any test, it may not become a permanent feature on Netflix.”
A few Android-based apps seem to be the testing ground with options to slow down the video to half speed. Supposedly a popular choice -- among the desperate -- during scenes of fleeting nudity. (Uproxx)
