Miley Cyrus has been all over Instagram lately with boyfriend Cody Simpson, and in one of her latest posts she seems to have taken a dig at her estranged husband, Liam Hemsworth.
The singer took to her Instagram story to tell fans, "There are good men out there guys, don’t give up," adding, "You don’t have to be gay, there are good people with (penises) out there, you just got to find them."
She then noted, "I always thought I had to be gay 'cause I just thought, like, all guys were evil, but it’s not true. There are good people out there that just happen to have (penises). I’ve only ever met one... and he’s on this Live,” referring to Cody, who was on the post with her.
·Well, many are taking that last part to be a diss at Liam, which is shocking, but plenty of others are even more shocked, and furious, that Miley’s telling women they don’t need to be gay because they can find a good man.
·“Miley, this is so not it. Women don’t “have to be gay” because they “can’t find a good person with a d*ck,” one person noted. “People aren’t queer because they “gave up” on men. This is so insulting.” Another person added, “from all the people in the world who could say this, miley is one of the last ones I could've thought of to try and invalidate queer women.”
·Of course, Miley was quick to backtrack on her comments, insisting, “I was talking sh*t about sucky guys,” noting, “let me be clear, YOU don’t CHOOSE your sexuality. You are born as you are. It has always been my priority to the LGBTQ community which I am a part of.”
