Mark-Paul Gosselaar Hasn't Been Approached For 'Saved By The Bell' Reboot

One of the biggest announcements that came from NBCUniversal about their upcoming streaming service Peacock is that they'll be doing a reboot of Saved By The Bell.

The new show will apparently follow the characters A.C. Slater, Jessie Spano, and Zack Morris - who's now the governor of California.

The only problem is - Mark-Paul Gosselaar apparently hasn't even been approached yet!

He was stopped by TMZ yesterday, and said that he knew nothing about the show before the announcement. According to him, it seems like Mario Lopez is the only former cast member who's been approached for a role.

Peacock will launch next April, with original programming that also includes reboots of Battlestar Galactica and Punky Brewster.
