You know that Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus are over. But apparently, it was news to the actor when the breakup reports first surfaced. While Liam was the one to officially pull the plug on his marriage to the singer, he was reportedly the last to know they were parting ways.
Sources tell Page Six that the actor learned about their split on social media, only after Miley’s reps released a supposedly “joint statement” announcing their separation while he was in Australia. This conflicts with previous reports that the split was a long time coming, which was supported by snaps of the two without their wedding rings on months before the news broke.
This could explain why Liam didn’t publicly address the separation until days later. But then again, Miley was already moving on with Kaitlynn Carter…not to mention immediately releasing a brand new song about the breakup.
