Vinyl Record Sales May Beat CD Sales For First Time In 33 Years

The vinyl resurgence is real - and the numbers are here to prove it.

Vinyl records have regained popularity in recent years, and right now they're on track to sell more units than CD's for the year of 2019!

Sales for vinyl have reached about $224 million so far this year.

And even though CD sales are still leading with $247 million, they're pretty stagnant - whereas vinyl sales are projected to keep increasing at a quick rate.

If it happens, this would be the first time that vinyl record sales beat out CD's for the first time since 1986.
