6-Year-Old Uses Birthday Money To Feed #HurricaneDorian Evacuees

Hurricane Dorian is currently making its way up the East Coast, and many people have evacuated parts of the Carolinas.

People everywhere have been finding ways to help, and one 6-year-old boy in South Carolina decided to do his own good deed.

Jermaine Bell had some birthday money that he was planning to use for a trip to Disney World, but instead, he decided to use it to feed hurricane evacuees in his area.

“The people that are traveling to go to places, I wanted them to have some food to eat, so they can enjoy the ride to the place that they’re going to stay at,” Jermaine said to WJBF.

He stood on the side of a road in Allendale with hot dogs, chips, and water available for free to people who passed through.

Jermaine's mother says the act of kindness was all his own idea.
