Pete Davidson In Talks For 'The Suicide Squad'

James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad is set for release in 2021, and it looks like they're currently adding some cast members.

Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson is reportedly up for a role, as well as former Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi. No official deals have been made yet, but if and when they are, Davidson's role is said to be a small one.

Other stars that have been rumored to be in talks for the cast include John Cena, Idris Elba, Steve Agee, Nathan Fillion, and Taika Waititi.

So far, Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, and Joel Kinnaman are all set to reprise their roles from the first Suicide Squad film. Will Smith will NOT return as Deadshot.

James Gunn will be writing and directing the new film, and production is set to start soon.
