It’s officially over for Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus, and Liam’s the one ending things. The actor has reportedly filed for divorce from the pop star after less than a year of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences."
Miley is NOT happy about the split, and sources tell TMZ that the singer has offered to work things out as recently as this week. But Liam’s people have maintained that he’s not on the same boat, so it makes sense that he’s the one pulling the plug on the marriage.
The couple has apparently been drifting apart for a while now. A month before reports of their separation, Liam was spotted out shopping without his wedding ring on. The divorce process itself should be pretty painless, since the couple doesn't have any kids – plus, they won't be fighting over money since they apparently have a prenup.
