'St. Elmo's Fire' Is Getting A TV Reboot

NBC is continuing the reboot trend with a "modern" take on the popular 80's film St. Elmo's Fire.

A script is being written by Josh Berman, who worked on Bones and Drop Dead Diva.

If it's greenlit and ordered to series at NBC, the show would join many other reboots and revivals to hit TV recently, like Will & Grace, Murphy Brown, One Day At A Time, Charmed, and BH90210.

The 1985 film was a coming-of-age story about a group of young college graduates trying to adjust to adulthood and life after school.

It starred the infamous "Brat Pack" members Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, Demi Moore, Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy and Mare Winningham. No word yet on whether the original cast members will have anything to do with the reboot.
