$15,000 Donated To Cameron Boyce's Favorite Charity In His Honor

Fans all over the world were shocked to hear about 20-year-old Disney star Cameron Boyce's death last week.

Throughout his final years, Cameron was a big spokesperson for The Thirst Project, a charity that builds wells to bring clean drinking water to villages in need.

Soon after his death, friend and former co-star Adam Sandler started a Facebook fundraiser in Cameron's honor to donate money to the charity - and now over $15,000 has been donated in his name.

The organization's co-founder and CEO says that they've also received tons of DMs and emails from people asking how they can get involved and carry on Cameron's legacy.

Disney also canceled the Descendants 3 red carpet event, and instead they will donate money in Cameron Boyce's name to The Thirst Project.
