Vegetables Recalled For Potential Listeria Risk

Packages of butternut squash, cauliflower, zucchini and vegetable bowls sold under the brands Green Giant, Trader Joe’s and Signature Farms have been recalled for listeria concerns.

The manufacturer Growers Express has "voluntarily recalled" the vegetables, according to the FDA.

The packaged vegetables were produced at a factory in Biddeford, Maine, and were distributed to grocery stores across the United States - but mostly in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Maine.

The FDA issued a list of the stores and states affected, and urges you to throw these packages away if you have any in your home.

Short term symptoms of listeria include high fever, severe headaches, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea.
