Lena Headey Wanted A "Better Death" For Cersei on 'Game Of Thrones'

It's been almost a full month since the final episode of Game of Thrones aired, and it seem like the talk has finally died down.

But one of the things in the final season that upset fans the most was the way that Cersei Lannister was killed off.

Now, star Lena Headey has given some of her thoughts about the death in a new interview with The Guardian.

“I will say I wanted a better death,” Lena said.

“Obviously you dream of your death. You could go in any way on that show. So I was kind of gutted. But I just think they couldn’t have pleased everyone. No matter what they did, I think there was going to be some big comedown from the climb.”
