Britney Spears Gets Permanent Restraining Order Against Former Manager

Britney Spears was granted a permanent restraining order against her former manager Sam Lutfi yesterday.

Sam is ordered to stay at least 200 yards away from Britney and her family for five years.

Her father Jamie Spears testified that Sam was "attacking his family" and trying to "disassemble the conservatorship" that Britney is under.

According to documents, Britney's legal team says Sam has been sending harassing and threatening texts and tweets to Britney and her family, and that his actions have caused “severe mental trauma” while interfering with her life.

Sam was Britney's manager in the early 2000s and her family holds him responsible for her mental downfall in 2008.
