Tne new Ghostbusters movie will be in theaters next summer, and now it looks like Sigourney Weaver has joined the cast!
In a new interview with Parade magazine, she confirms that she'll be reprising her role as cellist Dana Barrett.
“It’s going to be crazy working with the guys again,” she said - referring to Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd, who have also signed on for the new movie.
“I knew it would be big. The script was so funny and full of heart,” she said of the original. “‘Ghostbusters changed my life.”
Not much else has been said about the new installment yet, but it's going to be a follow-up to the original film, and it's being directed by Jason Reitman - who's the son of original director Ivan Reitman.
