You can give. You can volunteer. You can pray. Help those tragically affected by the mass shooting at the Virginia Beach Municipal Center.
- The United Way of South Hampton Roads has created a Tragedy Fund for those affected. You can also text VABEACH to 41444. TowneBank is also accepting donations at any of their branches. 100 percent of the funds will go to the victims.
- You can donate your time with Volunteer Hampton Roads .
- The City of Virginia Beach also has a page set up to how you can assist in the community. They want you to sign up and wait for instructions. Don't just show up somewhere expecting to volunteer.
- Zoom Room is asking for volunteers to assist with Certified Therapy Dogs to provide visitations. Contact the Emergency Operations Team at 1 (757) 385-4232.
- Coaster Coffeein Norfolk will be hosting a card-making event for those affected from 5-8 pm on Monday.
- Memorial donations (flowers, teddy bears, cards, etc.) can be dropped off on the lawn in front of Building 11 facing Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach.
