The 3rd season of Netflix's hit show Stranger Things is coming this summer, and details about the plot have still been mostly kept under wraps.
Since the show is set in the 80's, creators Ross and Matt Duffer constantly draw inspiration from their favorite movies and shows of the decade. And now, they've revealed a list of the movies that heavily influenced this upcoming season.

“We would say that this is our most unapologetically fun season,” says Ross. “Yet at the same time, it is also our most horrifying and intense season. It’s this wild mix of tones that we think really sets this season apart.”
Stranger Things season 3 premieres on July 4th.
