It's BABY season! Like outdoor babies like birds, squirrels, rabbits, etc. That makes snakes hungry! and when snakes get hungry they look for what they smell. Very obvious stuff right! Well, right now Hampton Roads smells great to all sorts of snakes and they are being seen everywhere! In fact earlier blog post you'll see my family out on the Cape Henry Trail around Fort Story. My son spots a giant black snake.
Our friends at WAVY just did a piece on this. Fun fact! It's illegal to kill ANY snake in Virginia. No lie though...I'll take the fine or jail time. OR...most likely I'll just run away. #JustSayin
