Mel B has returned to Spice Girls rehearsals following a medical emergency. She was temporarily blinded in her left eye.
A source told People magazine “She’s doing fine now. They gave her some drops. This has happened before. Mel B has herpes in her eye.”
Medically speaking, some people suffer Herpes Simplex One cold sores around their lips. Mel B basically got a cold sore in her eye.
Mel B’s right eye was permanently damaged 20 years ago during botched laser surgery.
Spice Girls minus Posh tour this summer in England. Opening night is Friday in Dublin, Ireland.
