Alright... now this is getting a little TOO crazy.
After Sunday night's divisive episode of Game of Thrones, some angry fans have now started a PETITION to have HBO remake the final season with new writers!
Every episode this season has had its share of controversy for many reasons - the "Starbucks cup" editing mistake, the underwhelming (and underlit) Battle of Winterfell, Daenerys' and Jaime's character arcs, and the way that multiple character deaths happened.
The petition argues that showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss “have proven themselves to be woefully incompetent writers when they have no source material (i.e. the books) to fall back on. This series deserves a final season that makes sense. Subvert my expectations and make it happen, HBO!”
Over 40,000 people have signed it. HBO has not yet commented on the situation.
