It was an amazing Mother's day for my family. The sun came out on a predicted rainy day! We did everything! Beach walking, racing around First Landing park, mama day brunch (At the Cafe on Shore Dr, nice hidden spot) and even spotted a GIANT black snake on the Cape Henry Trail. Watch the video below on how my son handled that! Which is funny because 5 mins before we saw the snake we talked about what to do IF we did see one. I said I would run away...he said his teacher said to stand still (not sure if that's right or not but he clearly did).
