Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner surprised everyone last week when they got married in an impromptu ceremony in Las Vegas after the Billboard Music Awards.
Well now, their sister-in-law Priyanka Chopra is revealing how the ceremony ended up happening.
In an interview with Access, she says that the decision was "so Jophie", and that the couple had made the decision prior to the BBMA's and wanted to make it as fun as possible.
"Joe had this idea that he wanted to do this [after the Billboard Awards]," said Priyanka. "He had these little black cards that we all got and we were randomly inviting our friends, like, people that we met. We were like, 'OK, we're going to the chapel right from here, please arrive'."
Fellow celebrities like Diplo, Khalid, and Dan + Shay were all in attendance at the ceremony, which was officiated by an Elvis impersonator.
Joe and Sophie still plan to have their more traditional wedding ceremony with family and friends in the summer.
