WATCH: Prince Harry Gush over Birth of Baby Boy

It’s official – Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy! Fans have been on Royal baby watch for weeks now, but when word broke that Meghan was in labor - the world paused...until the happy news arrived. Interestingly, the couple really did do things their way - first announcing the arrival via their Instagram account..and THEN Buckingham Palace confirmed it the "old fashioned way."

What do we know? Baby Sussex tipped the scales at seven-pounds, three-ounces and arrived just after 5am local time yesterday. Harry was by his bride's side...and as you might expect was beaming as he gave his first remarks after the birth. Now, the family of three is at home at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor along with Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland.

“It’s been the most amazing experience I could have ever have possibly imagined,” Harry gushed. “How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension, but we’re both absolutely thrilled and so grateful for all the love and support from everybody out there.”

·What don't we know? The name. While Harry has confirmed that his son was “a little bit overdue,” he says that he and Meghan are giving it some thought - and that we'll likely know when their bouncing babe makes his debut. That's expected to happen tomorrow - after the happy couple has had some private time as a new family.

·ONE MORE THING! As for the love and support, they’ve gotten congratulations from Kate Middleton and Prince William, who “look forward to meeting the latest addition to the family.”

·BUT WAIT… THERE’S MORE! In light of the big news, Meghan’s estranged father Thomas Markle had a statement. “I am proud that my new grandson is born into the British Royal family and I am sure that he will grow up to serve the crown and the people of Britain with grace, dignity and honor,” he says in a statement to The Sun. “God bless the child and I wish him health and happiness, and my congratulations to my lovely daughter Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry – and God save the Queen.”
