Tinder Launching New Mode For Festival Hookups

Most people go to music festivals to enjoy hours of great music, but there are also plenty out there hoping to get lucky along the way... and Tinder is about to make that A LOT easier.

The app has just launched "Festival Mode", which allows users to add a badge to their profile revealing the music festivals they plan to attend.

The badges will roll out about three weeks before a festival, which means before the big weekend, users will be able to match and chat with others going to the same fest.

Tinder usually sees a significant surge in activity throughout festival weekends. For example, in 2018 Tinder app registrations during Hangout Fest increased up to 30x, and app activity increased up to 300x at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival.

Coachella and Stagecoach may be over already, but Festival Mode will now be in full effect for such upcoming major festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas, Governors Ball, Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, Firefly Festival, and more.

Happy swiping!
