The Cast of 'Empire' Wants Jussie Smollett Back

There's still no official word on what Jussie Smollett’s future is on Empire, but his co-stars now definitely want him back.

Taraji P. Henson,Terrence Howard, and others have written a letter to demand his return to the show.

He was written out of the last two episodes of this seasons in the wake of his hate crime scandal.

“Together, as a united front, we stand with Jussie Smollett and ask that our co-star, brother and friend be brought back for our sixth season of ‘Empire',” the cast wrote in the letter.

It was addressed to Fox Entertainment CEO Charlie Collier, Disney TV Studios and ABC Entertainment chair Dana Walden, Fox Entertainment president Michael Thorn, Empire creator Lee Daniels, co-creator Danny Strong, and other executive producers on the series.

For now, Lee Daniels has said that Smollett’s future is still in discussions.
