That's what happened when HGTV design starsย Chipย andย Joanna Gainesย had the chance to meetย Martha Stewart.ย They were both honored as part of Timeโs 100 Most Powerful People in the World, after turning their show into a Magnolia design empire. The couple had asked actress Sophia Bush to introduce them to Stewart at theย bash.
When we asked later about the meeting, Stewart insisted she had heard of Chip and Joanna Gainesโ growing business empire, but didnโt immediately recognize them when they were introduced at the Time 100 gala.ย
Meanwhile,ย Taylor Swiftย knew who they were and performed a closing set at the gala.ย
