The calendar for Taylor Swift is crowded through next year.
Friday, she releases a single to radio. Taylor has teased it for weeks. But last night in New York City at the Time 100 Gala, she avoided spoilers. We’ll have to wait for Friday. The countdown clock at her official website is down to one day plus several hours. (Hits Daily Double)
On Tuesday, a newspaper in Brazil reported that Taylor Swift will tour South American next spring. Presumably to support her seventh album. Taylor bypassed the continent on the two previous tours. (Destak)
At last night’s gala, Taylor gave an acoustic performance of four hit songs: “Style,” “Delicate,” “Love Story” and “Shake It Off.” She shared with the audience in a brief speech, (quote) “I look at songwriting as a protective armor. Which is weird, because you think of writing about your life as vulnerability. I use it as a way of justifying things. I like to honor the good times and process the bad times when I write.” (E! News)
