The FIRST photo of a BLACK HOLE in space is HERE

My geek radar went into overload this morning as the FIRST every photo of a black hole was revealed this morning! A black hole captures and destroys light so this is truly amazing! True, this isn't a real photo that you would take with you phone. It's done via 8 radio satellites that translate data into an image. It's kinda the same thing....kinda. This system of telescopes is called "The Event Horizon telescope". CLICK HERE to get the breakdown.

.

"The breakthrough image was captured by the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT), a network of eight radio telescopes spanning locations from Antarctica to Spain and Chile, in an effort involving more than 200 scientists".
