Lori Loughlin Rejected Plea Deal that Included Jail Time

Lori Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli rejected a plea deal in their college bribery case in an effort to stay out of prison.

Had the couple taken the plea deal offered by prosecutors, the couple would have gotten between 18 and 24 months behind bars. A source tells People magazine, “They weren’t ready to accept that. They’re really not seeing how serious this is.”

By not accepting the deal, the two may have put themselves in deeper trouble. When they were indicted today (Tuesday), prosecutors hit them with an additional charge of money laundering. That could add 20 years in prison for each of them.

As the insider puts it, “They decided to roll the dice, and it may have been a bad gamble. Now they’re in worse shape than before.”

This isn't going to end well for them.
