Sara Gilbert is walking away fromThe Talk at the end of this season.
She created and executive produces the daytime talk show on CBS, and made the announcement on today's episode (Tuesday).
"This is hard to do and something...Something that I have been struggling with for a while...but I've decided it's time for me to leave the show at the end of the season," Gilbert said. "I obviously love it here, and like I said this was extremely difficult."
Her producing and acting duties on The Conners are a big reason why she's decided to leave, in addition to other projects she has in development both as an actor and a producer.
"If I'm being honest about it, I think my life was slightly out of balance and I wasn't able to spend as much time with my three kids as I'd like or time for myself," she said about the last few months. "As I've continued on, I've started to develop more things to produce and I'm having opportunities to act, I'm just feeling like I don't know how I'm going to do it all."
