The singerย Halseyย made a shocking confession during an emotional speech at the Ending Youth Homelessness benefit. She was this-close to becoming a prostitute.
Her parents kicked Halsey out of the house because she quit community college. She recalled her days being homeless, โI was living in New York and I was debating on whether I should let a stranger inside of me so I could pay for my next meal.โ
Halsey pleaded for attendees to donate to homeless youth centerย My Friendโs Placeย in Los Angeles. She said on Saturday night that her story is inspirational, but not the reason to donate.
