Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th, and itโs safe to say fans canโt wait.
Pre-sale tickets went up for sale yesterday morningโฆ but things got CRAZY almost immediately. Ticketing websites were crashing and fans were outraged.
Atom Tickets reported that the movie set a record for their best first-day sales โ it beat Avengers: Infinity War by three times within an hour and Aquaman by four times within half a day. The movie is also Fandangoโs new top first-day seller, beating Star Wars: The Force Awakens. And at Regal, the movie is quickly outpacing the ticket pre-sales for any Marvel movie in their history.
While that all sounds great, it didn't go so smoothly for most fans and the sites themselves. All that traffic crashed AMCโs website, and fans had trouble with all the other ticketing sites, too.
