Pete Davidson and Kate Beckinsale are still going strong! On the heels of Pete’s whirlwind engagement-turned-breakup with Ariana Grande, his relationship with the actress (who has 20 years or so on him) has been a little controversial - but Kate doesn't mind at all.
Kate compares herself to the English yeast-based spread Marmite, which she describes as something you either “really, really like or you really, really don’t.” And she’s totally okay with that.
“If you don’t like me, I don’t care, it really doesn’t affect me,” she notes. “The people who like me really, really like me and would jump in front of trains for me.”
But she does admit that she’s “surprised by the interest” in her dating life, although she hasn’t been shy about clapping back at haters over it.
“I’ve never been in this position before, never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief,” she says. “I think if you like the person less, you would bow out of it – if that were the main thrust of the relationship, there would be a problem, but it’s not.”
