2019 GLAAD Media Awards: Lizzo, Hayley Kiyoko & More To Perform, Present

Lizzo and Hayley Kiyoko are among the musicians expected to hit the stage at the 2019 GLAAD Media Awards.

Per an announcement made on Monday (March 25), both the rapper and pop star will take the mic at the 30th annual awards ceremony, with the hip-pop star opening the Los Angeles show with a performance of her smash jam "Juice" and Kiyoko listed to present at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where the awards will be held this Thursday (March 28).

Additional guests to make special appearances at the LA function include Gwyneth Paltrow, Janet Mock, Olivia Munn, Alex Landi, Adam Rippon, Meghan Trainor, Janet Mock, Jake Borelli, Barbara Corcoran, Erika Jayne, and Lena Waithe.

As previously reported, Beyoncé and Jay-Z will receive the Vanguard Award for using their work to "bend the arc of justice forward for LGBTQ people, people of color, and marginalized communities everywhere.” Actor Sean Hayes will also be recognized for advocating and forwarding LBGTQ culture.

At the New York City 2019 GLAAD Media Awards event, taking place at the New York Hilton Midtown on May 4, Madonna will be awarded the Advocate for Change honor. At the celebration, Andy Cohen will also be presented with the Vito Russo honor.
