The Reviews Are In: Jordan Peele's "Us" Is a Hit

There’s just one major movie arriving this weekend. Jordan Peele returns with a movie called Us that “cleverly balances horror and comedy.” Opening weekend revenue at 3,700 screens will approach $50 million.

In Thursday night previews, Us made more than $6 million. That is more than Peele's Get Out made in previews. Also beats review revenue for horror flicks A Quiet Place and The Nun. (Deadline Hollywood)

Usstars Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke and Elisabeth Moss. Over 200 reviews at Rotten Tomatoes give it a 95 percent fresh score

Captain Marvel will drop to second place and earn another $35 million. (Box Office Mojo)
