Actor Luke Perry was officially laid to rest in Tennessee earlier this week (though his family refuses to say exactly where). The Beverly Hills 90210 star died on March 4 at a hospital in Burbank, California, just days after suffering a massive stroke. He was 52 years old.
CNN obtained his death certificate, which also listed his cause of death as a “ischemic cerebrovascular accident."
Perry was a native of Ohio, but he owned a farm in Vanleer, Tennessee, and lived there part-time since the mid-90's. His children say that the farm will "stay in the family", and that they have no plans to sell it.
He was currently starring on the CW show Riverdale, and production on the show was briefly halted in the days following his death. Warner Bros. Television, which produces the series, has not said how his death will be handled on the show.
Another revelation from his death certificate that many people weren't aware of: Luke Perry's real name was Coy Luther Perry III.
