Luke Perry might've been best known as Dylan McKay in the hit 90's TV show Beverly Hills, 90210 - but he was recently starring in one of the biggest teen dramas on television, Riverdale.
Perry played Fred Andrews, the loving and loyal father of the main character Archie Andrews. Many of the other cast members have said that he truly was a father figure to everyone on set; always spreading love, wisdom, and kindness.
Riverdale has a new episode airing on The CW tonight (Wednesday), and creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said the new episode — as well as all future episodes — will be dedicated to him and his memory.
"Tonight’s episode of #Riverdale finds Fred doing what he does best--helping Archie," said Aguirre-Sacasa in an Instagram caption. "It is dedicated to Luke, as all episodes will be for the rest of our run. ❤️"
Luke Perry passed away on Monday at the age of 52 after suffering a stroke.
