Luke Perry‘s daughter has broken her silence on the death of the Riverdale star.
Sophie Perry posted a photo with the Riverdale star on Instagram Tuesday and talked about rushing home to L.A. from Africa after learning that her father had suffered a stroke. She writes, “A lot has happened in this past week for me. Everything is happening so fast. I made it back from Malawi just in time to be here with my family."
The 18-year-old acknowledged the "overwhelming amount of love and support" she received and added that she's not "really sure what to say or do in this situation, it’s something you aren’t ever given a lesson on how to handle, especially when it’s all happening in the public eye."
Luke died Monday following a massive stroke. He was 52.
